My goal is to create beautiful customised interiors that are flexible, functional, inclusive, tell your story and improve your emotional wellbeing. To truly understand and respond to your needs and dreams, now and into the future.
With over 25 years of experience in the interior design industry, I have extensive knowledge designing and producing interpretive displays and interior spaces for libraries, museums and visitor centres.
My other passion is planning bespoke residential spaces and property styling for clients wanting a personalised outcome tailored just for them.
Whether you are embarking on a Tree Change, a Sea Change or love where you live but need to upgrade, I would be delighted to help to make the transition both smooth and exciting.
Working together, we realistically identify your wish list, the essential requirements and allocated budget, then develop a plan tailored to meet your individual project.
The goal is to create stunning spaces that are inviting, forward thinking and promote health & well-being.
For all projects, care is taken to consider functionality, accessibility and adaptability for your current and potential changing needs together with aesthetics to compliment your style...your brand!
From concept to completion, I am committed to listening carefully, documenting our decisions and keeping our lines of communication open with regular updates.

My name is Marg Degotardi and I am proud to run Peppermint Box Interiors.
I live and work at our 20 acre hobby farm (studded with loads of Peppermint Box gum trees) located on the Adelaide side of the Barossa Valley. I share the space with my husband, horse, very old pet sheep seen here when we were both somewhat younger and our extremely naughty puppy who thinks he is boss of everything—and probably is! Never a dull moment. ;-)
I have always been a designer of some sort…from graphics to museum and visitor centre exhibitions, to home spatial planing and interior design both commercial and residential.
I love to look beyond the obvious, to consider future needs and to plan for change.
My dream is to create spaces that make you feel great (& that makes me feel great)!
Inspired by my favourite spot where generations of Peppermint Box gums line the gully at our hobby farm in Cockatoo Valley, where I live and run the studio. The species is indigenous to the area, not showy but proud and character filled, having stood the test of time.
