background skills & knowledge

I have always been a designer of some sort.

Starting out as a Graphic Designer working in advertising, I moved to Museum Exhibition and Visitor Centre Design focussing on interpreting stories in a physical environment. Topics ranged from popular culture, Australian legends, politics and to very personal and sensitive accounts by people from all corners of the earth.

It was a very rewarding time working with historians, curators, educators and learning from all sorts of professionals, artisans, trades and production specialists. I combined my background design knowledge with construction and project coordination skills.

Looking to expand my knowledge base, I studied part-time at UniSA (as a mature aged student), graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor of Interior Architecture.

I have worked directly with land owners (some with hobby farms also) and collaborated with builders and product suppliers to develop custom concepts, plans and selections for new builds and refurbishments.

After working for a number of architecture firms and property developers, I realised that what I really love is to work directly with clients on projects from the very beginning to the very end. To really be involved in all stages and to make sure dreams come true.
